Acne Myths, 3!
Posted by under Acne Cure6 - Getting a good 'healthy' tan will clear up and prevent break-outs
Actually the reverse is true. At first it will seem that the acne has improved but this is just the colour of the skin which has darkened hiding the problem. The sun dries the skin and can lead to another break-out, as can greasy sun creams. Do check your sun screens for suitability for acne sufferers and if in doubt ask when you buy it.
The words to look for are noncomedogenic or nonacnegenic on the label
7- Popping zits will get rid of them
Another myth goes down the toilet. Squeezing the zit pushes the poison down into the deeper layer of the skin which allows more infection to grow and lead to a deeper infection and in the worse case scarring.
8 - Only Teenagers get acne
I know to my cost that this is not true. About 25 to 30% of all people in early adulthood aged 25 to 44 have acne. So the idea that it is just an adolescent problem that will go away in time is a total myth.
There are loads of myths about acne and it is important to note even more 'bright ideas' in some so called health magazines or on Internet sites.
The best cure for Acne I have found really does cure your acne in just 3 days
